Hi, I'm Peanut. I'm 4 month's old and I'm deaf. I love life, love every person I meet, and love all the dogs in my foster home.

I've been vetted, except for being spayed...that will happen soon, before I'm adopted. I'm a quick learner, and my foster mommie has already taught me to sit for treats.

I'll need some extra attention to keep me safe. Since I can't hear traffic, my family will need to be sure that I'm always on a leash or in a safely fenced area. For this reason, I probably should not go into a family with very young children; they may not remember to close the door tight, or their visiting friends might open the door without knowing that I'm right there and ready to escape!

I will train very quickly to hand signals (American Sign Language) and the folks at CCDAL can provide you with a very simple dictionary. If you aren't afraid to learn a new language, I hope you will apply for me.
