ROCKY

Rocky is a stunning, 3 year old purebred Dalmatian that was surrendered to CCDAL when his family had to move and could not take all of their dogs with them. This handsome young man was very sad to see his family leave and was scared at first, but warmed up quickly to the family who he was surrendered to and then his foster mom and her two Dalmatians. He loves riding in the car in his crate and slept or sat up and looked around. Riding in the car seems to relax him.

Rocky was well socialized and gets along with children of all ages and dogs of all sizes. He would prefer a home without any cats. He is a "smiler" and will smile if you ask him to or even say the word in a sentence! He also howls and talks with you! He also knows sit and stay. He does not like being outside long and will do what he needs to do and wait at the door to come back in. He starts to shiver when it gets cold so a coat is recommended.

Here he is exploring:

Have you ever seen a Dalmatian smile? Well, Rocky does!

Rocky needs to be neutered and receive all of his vetting before he can be placed with a family, but if you are interested in him, you are welcome to fill out an application to start the process. Please check back also for updates!
