Hello, my name is Speck and I am a seven-year-old, neutered, house-trained, and well-mannered Dalmatian. I am very handsome with darker colored spots and a very calm, laid back personality. I am currently living with my foster mommy, foster daddy, their six-year-old energetic son, and 4 other dogs (Dalmatians and one Dalmatian mix) one of which is Rupert who is also up for adoption.

I was found as a stray in the South Boston, VA area and the kind volunteer from the local humane society made sure I made it out of the pound and into a rescue organization/foster home. I enjoy being petted, and will use my nose to put your hand on my head (please take the hint and pet me, pet me, pet me!). I roll over for a belly rub and love to be doted on as well as just be with you.

I also love to take rides in the car and am very well behaved in the house, but do request that you let me snuggle in bed with you at night! I was also excellent at the vet's office and actually sat on the lap of the technician for love and was a perfect gentleman while they cut my nails and I leaned in for more love. I am currently on heartworm preventative, flea and tick preventative and up to date on all of my shots. Please apply if you think I would make a wonderful addition to your family!
